BEVERAGES: A PART OF YOUR HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

A Healthy And Active Lifestyle...
Canadians care about their health and wellness. Most people know that a healthy lifestyle includes regular physical activity and a balanced diet as outlined in Canada's Physical Activity Guide and Canada's Food Guide to Healthy Eating. The Food Guide states that all foods and beverages can have a place in healthy eating. Refreshments Canada encourages the adoption of a healthy and active lifestyle by all Canadians.

Beverages For Wellness...
A healthy diet must include an adequate fluid intake. Beverages not only quench our thirst, they re-hydrate the body while providing energy and essential nutrients. Today, there is an ever-increasing array of satisfying beverages available to meet the fluid needs of Canadian consumers. Choices include bottled waters, juices, fruit drinks, teas, coffees, milk, carbonated soft drinks, sports drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages.

Refreshments Canada members produce a range of beverages that offer choice, great taste, convenience and nutrition to help meet the needs of consumers who are looking for drinks that taste good and help them live a healthier lifestyle.
